I know for a fact (since I measure it) that my car is the #3 biggest
user of electricity in my house. It's behind my Air Conditioner and
my refrigerator. (Well... now that it is the dead of winter... the
A/C in the house isn't on so I guess the car is the #2 biggest
electricity user.)

I figure my month to month electricity usage has increased by 10% each
month due to the electric car... Though that increase was offset by a
decrease from switching to all LED lighting in the house. Electric
cars do not use that much electricity.
