I think they drove through El Paso (making a stop for publicity) but spent
the night in Ft. Stockton (although I could be wrong about the details).
>From there they made a shot to San Antonio but made a stop in Kerville for a
short charge.  Then onto San Antonio at the Republic House restaurant where
they charged at one of their 6 charging stations.  4 other EVs were there
from the Alamo City EV club.

So basically, El Paso to San Antonio sounds a lot better than Ft. Stockton
to Kerville.

I wonder how they got from El Paso to San Antonio?  That would be three 
legs, two well positioned charging stops.
