I noticed the other day that a company called "PowerFig" makes and
sells L6-30 extension cords.  At $35 for a 10ft L6-30 extension cord,
it is cheaper to buy the L6-30 extension cord and cut it up to make
adapters than to spend $20 for the male L6-30 plug and $32 for the
female L6-30 plug at Home Depot.  (Alas... they do not make cords
longer than 10ft.)
