They were at a meeting in San Antonio recently asking the Alamo Area
City Council of Governments (AACOG) to become members. I see that they
changed the website because there was info on their membership - I think
$5-10K per year for non-profits, maybe more otherwise. I wasn't at the
meeting but from what I heard it wasn't clear what the membership
included. They claimed to be politically connected. EV lobbyists?

Another company called ERRA, Inc was at the last EV Workshop. They are
an electric vehicle company who is setting up manufacturing in Kentucky
and San Antonio with their own battery technology. They claim this new
battery is as light as lithium, cheap as lead and last longer than the
life of the car. I hope it's all true - we offered test beds ;<}. The
CEO, James Hogarth, said he was involved in the Solectria Sunrise
development and the Electric Transportation Coalition many years ago.

Lot's of activity with EV's, it's not just grass roots anymore. Hey,
it's all good right?
