[ausev] need advice on selling/disposing of ICE

A while back I asked the list for advice on selling my ICE.  I thought I would share the result.  This was a '93 mazda b2600i engine with about ~112000 miles.  I put it on craigslist for $250, then $150 but got nothing.  I called 4 austin salvage yards and none would buy it.  Only two even said I could drop it off.  One of those was not very polite, and the other was very polite and helpful, just couldnt pay me anything for it.

Anyway, I listed it on ebay and actually had several bidders and eventually sold it for $290.  So I was pleased with that.  As part of the auction I asked the buyer to pick it up (I wasnt going to ship it).  The buyer paid me and picked it up a week after I pulled it.  It went about as smoothly as it could.

I appreciate all the advice I received from the list when I originally asked the question.
