Several of us will be staffing the AustinEV table at Sun Day Austin at Mueller Lake Park on Sept 27th. Come on by and check out the fun for all ages!
Sun Day Austin is an energizing, family-friendly festival celebrating the power of the sun and community-powered energy solutions. The event will take place on Sunday, September 27th 4-6 p.m. at Mueller Lake Park (Girard Kinney Park). Join us for an afternoon of celebration, education, live music, and advocacy around renewable energy.
This event is free, all ages, and will feature over 20 non-profit organizations and businesses with opportunities to get charged up for renewable energy and build momentum for affordable solar solutions that work for everyone. We’ll have kid-friendly activities, including face painting, crafts, solar car racing and music by Bill Oliver and the Otter Space Band. The event will culminate with a parade celebration led by Austin brass band, Blowcomotion and the giant 10 foot tall Sun Puppet.
